Affiliate Marketing for Network Marketers

By Mike Klingler

Affiliate Marketing becomes Affiliate Network Marketing!

Many network marketers are beginning to use internet affiliate marketing systems for lead generation and extra cash flow.

This additional income can fund expenses incurred when building their primary network marketing company.

How Does Affiliate Marketing Work?

Affiliate marketing is a system which enables you to get paid for a referral to a product; typically through a link on your website.

Because most network marketers understand the value of applied information, the most common affiliate products for network marketing distributors are books.

Ann Sieg and Mike Dillard have created books with affiliate programs which are promoted by network marketers.

These books include Sieg’s The Renegade Network Marketer, and Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring, as well as his Building on a Budget.

Generating Cash Flow for Your Network Marketing Business

Both Ann Sieg and Mike Dillard talk about generating cash flow to sustain your network marketing business.

This is important because most network marketers don’t make enough money to cover expenses when they first get started in the business. As a result, they have trouble meeting overhead expenses while trying to build a base of residual income from their business.

Affiliate network marketing can provide the solution to generating the needed cash flow.

Mike Dillard refers to this as the funded sponsoring proposal.

He calls it that because the system allows you to fund, in other words get paid for, your sponsoring efforts.

Most network marketers build their business by spending money to prospect. They hope that their sponsoring activities will result in a profit.

With funded sponsoring proposal, you have a system in place to generate income from your prospecting efforts even if your prospects don’t join you in your business opportunity.

The system enables you to offer information that a distributor in network marketing will buy, regardless of what business opportunity they represent.

Ann Sieg refers to this process as monetization.

How to Get Paid for Your Sponsoring Activities with Funded Sponsoring

You start off generating a lead by creating some type of content online that attracts prospects to what you have to offer.

Within the content you provide a link which takes the prospect to a lead capture page. There you make an offer for additional information in exchange for their name and email address.

Once the prospect provides their contact information, they become a part of your marketing funnel.

This allows you to follow up with them and make offers for either your own product or an affiliate product. You are able to generate affiliate marketing commissions based on the sale of that product.

By successfully using the funded proposal concept you are able to generate a stream of prospects that are interested in network marketing in general. These prospects will purchase information products from you directly or from one of your affiliate products.

Some of these prospects will be interested in joining you in your opportunity.

Meanwhile, the commissions you generate from the products will help you cover your overhead so you can focus on building your business. No more worrying about where you are going to get the money to cover your auto-ship.

Get the Affiliate Marketing Advantage

Network marketers who also utilize affiliate network marketing strategies have advantages over those who choose not to.

They have a huge list of prospects to talk to about their business.

They also have a cash flow stream to fund their primary business.

Now is your opportunity to employ affiliate network marketing to your business so you too can enjoy these benefits.

Magnetic Sponsoring: Is it Old News?

By Mike Klingler

Magnetic Sponsoring has been around for a few years... and it has been the leading product to introduce network marketers to real marketing.  Its creator, Mike Dillard, used it as an intro product to pre-sell people on his more expensive product, MLM Traffic Formula, which went into deep instruction on how to set up your campaigns.

This all took the MLM industry by storm... and Mike Dillard took the cream from the top... raking it in as he also built a huge list of network marketing enthusiasts.

He also did a service for the industry because he started teaching network marketers how to build their MLM business like a business (for the first time in MLM industry).

Magnetic Sponsoring was just a teaser really--to get people to buy the more expensive MLM Traffic Formula course.  But it did it's job.  And for under $40 it was a great information product.

But it's no longer the new kid on the block.  Recently, The Renegade Network Marketer was introduced by Ann Sieg; and this changed everything.  Ann Sieg didn't have an upsell in her plan, like Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring, so she was able to pack a lot more detailed information in her lower-end book, The Renegade.

Ann's book sold for a bit more ($67.50), but it was packed with enough for more people to 'get it.'

Recently, Dillard responded with a new book, still a pre-sell to MLM Traffic Formula, but a lot more current.  It's Mike Dillard's Building on a Budget... and it's focus is more on the more educated list of network marketers he's accumulated.  Building on a Budget shares 5 strategies on how to build a prospects list with Social Media Web 2.0 network marketing

Still, we have found that a book, no matter how good it is (including the extensive MLM Traffic Formula) is not enough to take most MLMers to the level they need to be.

Filling the need for this challenge, a new company called Marketing Merge responded by creating a video tutorial process that people can follow click by click, step by step.  This sets them up with their marketing, building them up each day as they watch another tutorial and set up a new marketing campaign to bring in prospects.  This new model doesn't really compete with Magnetic Sponsoring or The Renegade (or MLM Traffic Formula), but it takes people who have read these previous books to the next level, which is where they get to actually set up their marketing and see it working for them.

Social Networking Sites and one that Pays You?

By Mike Klingler

This is an email I sent to the community on November 6th

Hi. Are you using Social Networking sites to build your lists and to send traffic to your blog or website at no cost?

People are using these to create some serious traffic and to become very successful at marketing without spending a dime. This is another method my team has used to attract tens of thousands of opt in emails to our lists, which has translated into thousands of dollars earned, just from the results created on these social networking sites alone.

It’s not difficult to plug into it. You don’t need special programming or marketing knowledge to start seeing results early on. As you learn more about it, of course, you can get more from it, but it’s easy to begin and it’s another great way to get traffic at no cost on the Internet.

Sites like MySpace.com and Facebook.com are just some of the more successful social sites.

How do they work?

Social networking sites basically allow you to put your photo and information about you (including links) at a free location within a web ‘community.’ What makes a social networking site unique is that it’s very easy to connect with other members there. You can post messages that people in ‘your network group’ all see. As your network groups grow you start to get some serious marketing leverage. You can invite people into your network based on similar interests, and you can receive invitations as well. Since that’s the structure of a social networking site it’s very easy to build a contact list.

With millions of people (literally) registered at these sites, it’s smart to plug in if you haven’t already. If you’re already using these sites, stay active there. What do you do? The same thing you should be doing always in business—provide value to others. Offer tips, advice, help. This attracts people to you. Then you can market to them while offering that value.

A social site that pays you?

Recently, a site called Yuwie has entered the scene with a similar goal as Agloco—but they’re using social networking as their vehicle rather than the view bar. It looks like it has a lot more potential because they’ve just launched and already have over 200,000 registered members. They’re all set up to allow you to communicate with everyone easily (which is the point of a social networking site). And they’ve already started sending out checks. Basically you get paid as people hit your web page as well as the web pages of others you refer down 10 levels. It’s an interesting idea and worth looking into. http://www.yuwie.com/yuwie.asp?r=239887&vid=

MySpace.com and Facebook.com don’t pay like Yuwie does, but they are excellent sources to plug into for marketing. You can also type ‘social networking’ into Google and find many others, but I suggest first looking into the 3 I’ve mentioned here.

I’ve mentioned 3 different social networking sites here that I suggest you plug into and start learning more about. In the coming months we’ll spend more time offering training on how to fully take advantage of social networking sites to really get a lot of traffic. For now, if you’re a beginner, I suggest you get started by plugging into any of the 3 social sites I’ve mentioned here.

If you want to succeed just keep moving forward. The answers are out there!

PS Are you the next winner of the 25 Agloco Referrals? We just did the drawing for the next winner of the next 25 Agloco referrals. The person who won had cancelled his email subscription just this month so he can’t receive the prize. I’m going to do something creative to pick the next winner of these 25 referrals! I’ll send an email soon to give my most loyal email readers a chance to win those 25 Agloco referrals this week. Here’s what you’ll have to do to have a chance to win. You need to have signed up for the free traffic (that I sent an email to you about a few days ago) or you can sign up for it now at either of these two links: www.RenegadeSupport.com or http://www.trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?581657

You will have also needed to active your account there by surfing for 50 credits, which gives you the ability to start advertising free. I’ll send an email in a few days. If you have done these steps you will have a chance to win this week.

How Often to Email to Your Opt-in Email List When Marketing

By Mike Klingler

About building an opt-in email list and what to do with it once you have it…

Remember that marketing requires the ever bold step of actually—marketing.

If you provide real value and service on the front-end then there is nothing wrong with losing people from your opt-in email lists along the way. Never be afraid to try. Taking action and sending out one too many 'marketing' emails to your list is better than not taking action at all. It’s a learning process. You learn as you go along.

When building your opt-in email list and building an audience of people you would like to provide value to over time, never be afraid to lose people from your optin email list. One of my best mentors once told me that every time she received an unsubscribe notice she was happy about it because she knew she was taking action and moving forward. She noticed that when she got lazy and didn’t do any marketing she didn’t get anyone asking to unsubscribe. She is a multi-millionaire in marketing by the way.

I have several people I love to get emails from who have sold or tried to sell something to me in the past. Perry Marshall, Mike Dillard, Ellie Drake, Ann Sieg are a few of them. Sometimes a lot of time will go before I ever receive an email from them. At other times when they are promoting something or getting ready to promote something, I get many 'marketing' emails from them over the course of a few weeks. I don’t mind because I like these people. I want to support them. They are all millionaires and I have gained more than I have lost by being on their optin email lists and ’staying close’ to their wisdom along the way.

I have seen them grow and I have grown with them. When venturing out into the world of email marketing, or marketing in general, never be afraid to market.

Don’t get too attached to any one, two or even 100 people on your opt-in email list.

Of course, you want to offer real value and certainly you don’t want to annoy more people than you serve. It’s a balance you learn over time. Ultimately, if you have a long term email marketing goal and provide value along the way, you win every time.

Which Info Product Do You Sell?

By Mike Klingler

One of the best ways to make money with a blog is to sell information products.  An information product is an eBook, or it can be software.  I want to encourage every blogger to think about a market of people who buy like nobody else--network marketers.

Network marketers not only invest a lot into their education, they also refer a lot of people.  So you want to find a two level affiliate structure.

If there are back end ways of making more money its even better.

What if you don't attract a lot of network marketers to your blog?

Well, just create a section about it.  Or, create a new blog dedicated to it.  I assure you, network marketers are eating up the information products industry.  Build a new blog or ad a section devoted to keywords associated with network marketers, and then look for information products designed specifically for them.  You'll add several thousand dollars per month to your income.  In addition, you'll be building one of the most valuable email list in the world.  Keep your network marketer email is separate from others you have.  You can sell to them in the future.  You can also do a JV with someone who might help you build a large network marketing income while all you'll have to do is send an email.

If you are a successful online marketer and want to learn more about any of these points, contact Mike Klingler at http://mike.marketingmerge.com
