What is success for you? There are many Network Marketing experts who write about their small business success stories.
If you have been in Network Marketing for any length of time you have probably heard of some of the “Big Name” guru’s like Dale Calvert, Dani Johnson, Kim Klaver, and Big “Al” among many others.
Those of you who have done any Internet Marketing are probably familiar with Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring, Ann Sieg of The Renegade Network Marketer, and Mike Klingler founder of “Renegade University”.
Other leaders teaching their marketing systems over the Internet include Frank Kern, Justin Verrengia, Charles Heflin, Dustin Struckman, Adam Urbanski, and my favorite – Daegan Smith.
Building a Network Marketing Business
Daegan Smith is 27 years old, and upon leaving college went to work for a pharmaceutical company. That job lasted 6 months. Daegan realized that he was not cutout for a 9 to 5 job.
Daegan tried real estate and several other business opportunities before discovering Network Marketing.
Like most of us he went through a period of following the “Old School” method of building his network marketing business.
And like 97% of network marketers, he almost went broke trying to grow his MLM business into a business success.
Finally Daegan said: “Enough is Enough!”
Network Marketing Business Success: A Huge Downline
During his short adventure in Network Marketing, he had found little nuggets of good ideas from several of the MLM workshops and coaching sessions he had attended.
But what he really needed (like many of us) was a system that worked and would create business success quickly.
Daegan Smith was tired of being frustrated and poor … so he took everything he had and learned about Internet Marketing and developed his own lead generation system.
Daegan created a downline of over 3,637 people in less than 15 months and earns over $85, 172.47 monthly. For many, this would be the definition of business success. But it’s so much more than the numbers.
What is Success? It Begins with a Vision and a Goal
Recently I received an e-mail from Daegan Smith which I think demonstrates what success in network marketing really means.
Daegan starts his e-mail with an explanation of a very special goal he had when he began his network marketing business.
His younger brother had 3 years before he would graduate from High School and be off to college. Daegan’s goal was to have enough money to pay for his brother’s college education.
Well, it’s 3 years later and his brother is ready to start college, and Daegan has the money. But his brother was accepted by M.I.T. and received a full scholarship. So Daegan asked his brother what he would like to do before starting college.
His brother said: “I would love to go see Japan.”
Daegan replied: “It is as good as done!”
Daegan Smith’s Network Marketing Business Success Story
Daegan and his brother visited 1500 year old temples, the Tokyo fish market and ate sushi and beer at 7 AM. Every day was a new experience for them. What was priceless was sharing the time and experiences with his younger brother.
And all the time he was gone his network marketing business continued to grow and prosper.
