The Sales Funnel Of Internet Network Marketing

By Terri Stallcop

Building a sales funnel in internet network marketing is a process. Writing unique online pieces of content for your target market is how you start the process. If your content strategy for your internet network marketing is based on what that market wants, not only will they enter your sales funnel, some of them will also do two very important things for you:

1. They will spread the word! And,

2. They will buy! Then, if satisfied,

3. Back to number 1. They will spread the word!

And that, my friend, is when your sales funnel becomes a perpetual sales machine! Then you can take a little break and see the world, thanks to internet network marketing!

How To Build A Sales Funnel

Let’s take a look at what you are building as your internet network marketing strategy. You are building content, world-wide web content. So the top of your sales funnel is wide, meaning your first level of content is broad, allowing easy access into your marketing machine.

Here’s a breakdown of what you need to do:

#1 Your Target Market Should Be Encouraged To Enter Your Sales Funnel:

  • Through Social Media Networking (lead real people to your broad content)
  • Through Search Engine Terms, Keywords (use the keywords real people use when they search for information about your niche)

#2 Your Broad Content Pieces (articles, ads and forum comments) Link To the More Narrow Part of Your Sales Funnel (your blog or primary website)

  • More Specific Content (still generic, but rich in quality, narrowed down to your niche)
  • Content Here Must Be Captivating With Even More Value, More Education, More Everything!

#3 Your Offer Is At The End Of Your Sales Funnel And It Requires Opting In To Get There

  • Your Offer Needs It’s Own Website (should not be your company’s site)
  • Your Offer Can Be Inside A Sales Letter, A Product Catalog, etc.

Build A Perpetual Sales Funnel That Runs On Auto-Pilot

Concentrate on four consistent actions:

  1. Social Networking Where Your Target Market Hangs Out
  2. Keyword Research To Learn What They’re Searching For
  3. Link Your Content Using Your Target Market’s Keywords As Anchor Text
  4. Provide Easy Syndication On Everything! (RSS buttons, etc.)

Remember, the Internet and internet marketing runs on content. The more content, the more powerful the attraction is toward your sales funnel. The faster you build it, the faster they will come. Once prospects are attracted to your funnel, to keep them coming, keep providing what they want. To know what that is, we are back to #1 in the process – networking where they hang out (social media) and doing your homework – keyword research.

You will know when your sales funnel is becoming a perpetual marketing machine. It will get bigger with less and less effort on your part. Why? Because your prospects, customers and new team members will be spreading the word for you! It’s called leverage. Online it’s called syndication. Build your sales funnel with great content and syndication will make it a perpetual marketing machine for years to come!

You make some great points Terri. Trying to sell our opportunity up front never worked very well offline and it most certainly won't fly online. Both people and search engines like great value. As you say, the faster you build it the sooner they will come. It is a process to be sure but it's fun!

It's all about builiding relationships and finding out how you can be of service to people. Your primary opportunity may or may not be a solution for them.

To your $uccess!
