Many camcorders on the market give you ability to create a video and download it to your computer. The benefits of a camcorder include high picture resolution, ability to zoom in at great distances, and ease of editing video. The drawback to using a camcorder is the cost since a good quality camcorder will run in the high hundreds. Also, they tend to be somewhat bulky in size compared to other video creation methods.

You can create videos of Powerpoint presentations, or show people how to do something on their computer.

These videos do require some thought and preparation prior to creating them. The huge benefit is it gives you an opportunity to create a video of a topic you are an expert on without having to get in front of the camera. I mention this because some people are camera shy and this allows them to get around that initial fear.

If you are not camera shy then you can integrate your web camera recording with your presentation so your viewers can see you as you give the presentation.

5. Create A Video with a Cell Phone

You may have not realized this but your cell phone might have a feature that allows you to create a video. If it has a camera then chances are it has this feature. This is convenient since you probably carry your cell phone with you most of the time. You can create a video wherever you are.

Current cell phones may not have the best quality in audio reception so you will have to test it to see what range you have to be in for your phone to capture your audio. As cell phones continue to advance these features will be improved ultimately replacing your digital camera.

Another great benefit of creating a video with your cell phone is that sites like Youtube allow you to send the video from your phone to their site via email making it easy for you to upload your video.
