SEO Secrets for Raising Your Credibility and Branding Your Name on Google

Learning SEO and the SEO secrets to building an internet presence can go hand in hand with establishing or raising your credibility.

As more and more network marketers flock online to learn how to build an internet presence it is important to understand that to be successful you need to have your content found easily on Google.

Here’s an interesting little exercise you can do right now:

Key in your name into Google and see what comes up. You may be pleasantly surprised... or not!

By having good content indexed by your name you can substantially raise your credibility. Your prospects are very likely to search for your company name but in addition to that they may search to find out more about you.

What will they find?

If they can’t find you online it won’t give them much confidence in your ability to help them to build an internet presence. By the same token if they can find you online but all they see is some pictures of you hanging out at the local pub it may not do much for your branding!

Let’s look at what you can do now to get yourself listed on Google so that not only can you dominate the business or product keywords of your choice, you can also brand your name online. Renegade University teaches you everything you need to know about how to build a ‘You Inc.’ business.

Here are 3 things you can do today to start building your online credibility with Google and other search engines:

1)Set up a free account and write a short ezine article and submit it to ezinearticles.com Make sure your bio box links to some other good content of yours such as your blog or website, and brand yourself in this kind of way: ‘Joe Bloggs shows ordinary people how to build multiple streams of income from home.’ (Or whatever your unique selling point is)

2) Create a Squidoo Lens. You can write a review of your product or business here because you are allowed to be promotional in the body of the content on a Squidoo Lens. Make sure to give some good value based tips so people feel they are benefiting from reading your lens, and include some personal information about you.

3) Join Linked In at LinkedIn.com and spend some time creating a professional profile about you and your business.

You can do the same with many other social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Be congruent with your Unique Selling Point and develop a clear strategy for where you want your prospects to go. Click here for more SEO training

Big Tip: If you don’t know where you want your prospects to go then the chances are they won’t get there!

For step by step tutorials on how to create killer content and how to use these brilliant tools that we have covered here set up your free account at Renegade University and get started building your internet presence and learning more SEO secrets today.

SEO Secrets and Owning Your Keywords on Google with Facebook

by Rachel Henke

SEO Secrets are easy to discover, especially here because we are sharing them openly with you!

Learning SEO secret strategies can however be frustrating and can take a while if you don’t focus and you try to do too much at once.

I have found it most productive and effective to select several keywords and build all my content around them. You can choose as many as you feel able to focus on but by operating in this way you will quickly start to see your keywords come up as top listings on Google.

Read this article about the fundamentals of Search Engine Optimization Training

If you are in a very competitive niche then use long tail keywords i.e.; imagine that you want to own the keywords, ‘Randy Gage.’ This is obviously going to be quite a challenge and you’re unlikely to be able to get a top listing on Google for famous marketer’s names without considerable long term effort.

What you can do to produce results much more quickly and to drive traffic to your content is to select a long tail keyword that in this case could be ‘Randy Gage Team.’ Do you see how easily you can retain focus on the keywords but have more of a chance of coming up in the top listing when people search for that instead?

You are better to get a big chunk of a small niche rather than none of a big one!

This is just one example so for your keywords make sure to use a keyword research tool so that you can check that the long tail keywords you have in mind are actually being searched for.

My best SEO secret that I’d like to share with you today which involves this strategy is by using a free and popular tool that you may already know and love. I’m talking about the social networking site: Facebook.

I’m going to share a real life example that I have used to successfully secure what looks like a permanent top listing on the first page of Google. It’s usually in the top 3 as you can see in the screenshot further down, and the page it links to has a Google toolbar page rank of 4.

If you’re not familiar with the Google toolbar page rank yet it just means that 4 is a very high ranking so the page I created on Facebook is recognised by Google as an important page. Facebook helps you give this authority to your content because the search engines devour Facebook listings.

If you're not yet using Facebook for business then don't miss the detailed tutorials you can find through the Renegade training.

All you need to do is select your long tail keyword. Make sure it’s a good one that you will be happy to post content about over the long term because you don’t want to choose something that you will quickly lose interest in.

Set up a fan page in Facebook. This is very easy when you follow the instructions that Facebook provide. If you do decide to incorporate somebody’s name into it then make sure to be respectful and ensure that the content that you post is in line with their values.

You will want to leverage the news around that celebrity or famous marketer by giving value in a positive way.

You could also select keywords around your MLM Company for your Fan Page. Once you have the page set up spend some time adding some good content to your page. Write up the fan page profile and add your informative links so that visitors can get more information.

You can be direct in your marketing here because if people are looking for specific information on your company or team they will either be involved already or looking to join.

It’s a good idea to post value based content as well so that you gain more fans on a consistent basis and that way your page becomes more important in the eyes of Google, as more people visit it each day.

Here is an example of the Facebook Fan Page I created with the name of my selected keywords: Randy Gage Team.

Yes it’s just that easy to secure your keywords with popular social media marketing.

Meta Tags Description in Your Web Page

by Becky Joubert

Meta Tags, Title Tags,….all these technical SEO secrets!

What is a Meta tag description, and how important is it that you know what it is and you have one?

Like most search engine optimization training will teach you, it’s fairly important that you have as many search engine optimization aspects as possible in place. All of your SEO efforts work together to produce content that is easily found by humans and the search engines, and is optimized to “get the click”.

Your Meta tag description influences the way the search engines list and index your web pages.

The html part of the Meta Tag description is an unseen component that is placed in the “Head” of your web pages. Since it is not viewed by your visitors and is placed in your web pages’ html code, I consider it to be an SEO secret.

Learning SEO and Title Tags

by Becky Joubert

What are SEO title tags?

Your Search Engine Optimization or SEO Title Tag is the group of words you choose, to be seen by search engines and people alike, that appear in the very top of your browser on the blue bar. It’s one of those little SEO secrets!

Search engine optimization training on title tags is a very important choice if you expect to rank high in the search engines. Your title tag is at least equally important as your actual title that everyone sees in your text; if not more so. The search engines use your title tags to determine how to rank your websites, and view it as a summary.

Just to explain a little bit more, your SEO title tags are the words that appear as a clickable link in search engine results. And, if you bookmark a site, the title tag appears as the description for that site on your bookmark listing. You can see if you choose words that don’t really reflect your content, that it will affect the “clickability” of your listing in Google.

How to Create Strong SEO Title Tags

Your title tags should contain your specific keywords, or keyword phrases, that you’ve researched before you created your content. Since the number of words that actually appear in the title tag are limited, you’ll want to make sure you include your keywords in the beginning of the title tag.

Along with learning how to build a business with Attraction Marketing, you can study Search Engine Optimization training to fully optimize your website. You can learn how to create your own code if you are using a platform that either allows you to do so, or you want to do so. In the case that you will be implementing your own title tag, the code will look like this: <title>Learning SEO – SEO Title Tags</title>. Whatever text you place between the “title” html code will become your title tag.

Take a look the SEO Title Tag example here.  The title tag is at the top in the blue bar.  It is different from the title of the site and possibly the url of the site, and is a summary of what you'll find at this site; a clear and concise description.

You’ll want to be very concise with your SEO title tag by grouping all the words necessary to get the click by people, and be indexed properly by the search engines. If you were creating your title tag for your brick and mortar business in your area, you’d want to include several keyword phrases that specified your business.

Another SEO Title Tag example:

Dance Studio-Dancing for the Stars| All Levels |Mary’s Studio, Miami FL

Your title tag may read better by the use of dashes, “-“, or vertical bar, “| “so that you can include more information that will help you be found, instead of trying to create a complete sentence out of your keyword phrases.

*The vertical bar is found on the top of the key directly below Backspace, on the top right corner, and actually looks like a broken bar.

Another SEO Secret: if your title tag is being used to describe your site for people doing research or just browsing, then your title tag should be more descriptive. If your site is mainly built for purchasing, then your title tag should contain more terms that describe functions like “buy”, “download”, “view”, etc.

Search Engine Optimization Guide for Title Tags

  • Do use “Title case” or capitalize the first letter of your words
  • Do use a different and precise title tag on every page
  • Do use keywords and phrases that fit your site exactly
  • Do place your most important keywords at the beginning of your title tag
  • Don’t use more than 65 characters to prevent cut-off words (in Google)

Any search engine optimization guide will show that “great title tags equal high search engine rankings”. If your title tag is concise, and your content is solid and relevant, you will affect your search engine rankings.

SEO Secrets to Getting a High Google Page Rank for Your Website or Blog

Getting a high Google page rank (PR) is something that most internet marketers struggle at, but implementing the seo secrets to getting the ranking that you would like to see for your website or blog is not that difficult. First thing you need to understand is that getting your site listed in the top 10 positions of Google has nothing to do with page rank, but it will be a lot easier to get there and stay there if you have a high ranking. You need to also realize PR will probably not help you generate prospects any quicker if your site is already in the top 10 positions.

Your Search Engine Optimization Training Guide - To Title Tags and Meta Tags

By Rachel Henke

It's important when building your web of content for your network marketing MLM home business, to get a clear understanding of how title tags and meta tags can impact the ranking of your websites.

It's fairly simple, when you know where to look, to learn some "SEO Secrets" that will make all the difference between you having great content floating around online, and great content actually being found and read online with the keywords of your choice.

Search Engine Optimization, or ‘SEO’ as it is often referred to is a bit of a mystery for most! The good news is that with the increasing effectiveness of Social Media Marketing it just got a lot easier.

The SEO trends are merging with, and influenced by the Social Media Sites so that your keywords can be popping up all over the place with your free Web 2.0 content.

In the old days it used to be all about building complicated websites and knowing how to insert a title tag and meta tags into your site. Whilst that is still important, today there are many easy ways for the new internet network marketer to get their content ranked and viewed quickly, before they even have their own proper website.

Here are my 5 top SEO tips for maximizing your content with title tags and meta tags:

Use good keyword research tools such as the Google Keyword Tool so that you can find the best keywords before you create your content.

Start with a Squidoo Lens, Hub Page or Blog for easy title tag optimization. The "Title Tag" is exactly what you would think it would be. It is the title of your page so be sure to include your main keywords in it

Tweak and test your title tag. By changing your title tag on your blog to something that you think will attract more traffic you can very quickly test your ranking by doing google searches. Sometimes your title tag can bring your content up as quickly as the same day!

Use "Meta Tags" in your website pages. It is best to focus on key phrases rather than just one word terms. These are also known as "long tail keywords." The competition will be less fierce on these so use your keyword research tool to find some profitable ones that are relevant to your title tag and content.

Include your main keyword phrase in your URL if possible as this can also help.

As you get more advanced and create your own capture pages and websites you can use these same techniques to get them ranked quickly.

When you are trying to think of keywords to use for your meta tags imagine that you are in the shoes of your ideal network marketing prospect. What would they be searching for? Those are the keywords to analyse with your keyword research tool.

Remember that your content is only as good as the person who can find it so once you have created it; make sure to implement these SEO secrets so that your content gets read!
