Search Engine Optimization Tutorial for building an internet presence for YOUR Network Marketing Business - Part 3

By Rachel Henke

SEO Secrets and branding yourself with an MLM Company blog

In the Search Engine Optimization Tutorials Part 2 we looked at quick and easy ways to make content around your MLM business or Team brand.

Once you have got some confidence and some basic online skills which you can very easily acquire at Renegade University it’s time to up your game and start to build a web of content which links together where appropriate and magnetizes prospects for your MLM business to you and what you have to offer.

The most efficient way to set this up is to set up a blog. As we’re focussing on building content around your MLM Company or Team name then it makes sense to have a blog with the same theme.

This is where your prospects will be able to learn more about the MLM Company you partner with. Here are some ideas of what type of content you can put on your MLM blog.

 1) A personal introduction about you and your experience with your MLM

2) An overview of your MLM business opportunity

3) Compensation Plan

4) Your MLM products or services

5) Reviews of the different elements of your MLM business

6) Team videos and testimonials from team members

7) Links to company corporate websites and updates

8) Details of the system you use to build your business

9) Reviews and links to your MLM Team training

10) Training and reviews about how you use generic tools such as Renegade University to build your MLM business.

Building a blog takes time and patience and you can learn to do it step by step at Renegade University so that you don’t feel overwhelmed and alone!

The long term rewards are that if you are consistent with developing your own content and adding it to your blog it will start to show up in the search engines. Focus on 3-5 keywords connected with your company and aim to get those listed high on Google. Once you develop this type of content it is gold. You then have your own ‘online real estate’ so it is worth every minute you invest into it.

Tip: If you’re not 100% committed to building your MLM business long term then it’s better to first build a generic MLM blog whilst you research your options and find a company that you can really get behind. That way you brand your name and can also earn money and build your list with generic affiliate programs in the meantime.

You can link your Squidoo lenses, Hub pages, YouTube videos and Facebook Business Pages back to your blog so your prospects get more information and your credibility rises. Make sure you link up the content with the same theme i.e.; if you are focussing on your MLM content then link those pages with your MLM company blog so that your message is congruent.

If you’ve followed these Search Engine Optimization Tutorials you can see how the different parts of your web of content start to come together.

Tip: Set up your MLM blog so that you have a sign up form for interested parties to become qualified leads for your MLM. Otherwise you may lose these hot prospects as it may not be clear to them how to contact you or what to do next.

Tip: Have a clear call to action i.e. ‘complete the form for a free report about XYZ company.’ Also include your phone number and other contact details if you want people calling you!
